    My name is Nigel Dorne Shannon.

​

    I  served my apprenticeship as a Shipwright at Sydney's Cockatoo Island Dockyard in the 1980's and  been a self-employed designer and builder of boats ever since.

    Heading towards retirement from hard physical work, I'm pursuing  a long held interest in photography  (alongside boating, fishing , camping and naturism).

    I'm enjoying life on the mid-north coast of NSW and I particularly enjoy early mornings, hence my passion for sunrise photography.        I love spending time in the great outdoors and being immersed in nature.

     Art Nude photography is an an enjoyable and fascinating challenge and I love the idea of combining the soft curves of the female form with the rugged beauty of the sometimes harsh Aussie landscape.  Professional models, aspiring models or keen amateurs interested in working with me, please get in touch.
